- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to be offered across the Renault product range in India

Growing competition in the Indian car market has encouraged car manufacturers to offer a set of upmarket features in the entry-level segment as well. This time around fresh reports has emerged that claim Renault will soon offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across the product range in India, starting with its entry-level product, the Kwid. The feature will, however, be limited to only the top spec variants and will be introduced soon.
Currently, the company does not offer smartphone connectivity options in any of its products sold in India, however, reports that all the 2019 Renault cars will be offered with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the top-spec variants. The Kwid is the first entry-level hatchback to be offered with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system and was only offered with a Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity options. The company also offers the features in top-end variants of the Kwid, Duster, Captur and Lodgy.
