Weeks after making its online debut in several spy photographs, the Renault Oroch has been officially teased for Brazil. Based on the Duster compact SUV, the production-spec Oroch is scheduled to make its public debut on June 18 at the Buenos Aires Auto Show in Argentina.
According to Renault, the Oroch is a ‘Sport Utility Pickup’ which will feature all the qualities that make the Duster a better vehicle than its competition.
The pickup model’s primary market will be Brazil, however, Renault could introduce it in certain European markets to capitalise on the growing popularity of the Duster. Given the lack of demand for pickup models here in India, we wouldn’t be surprised to not see the Oroch coming to the Indian market, in spite of the Duster’s influence.
