-New compact SUV that will be launched in India in 2019
-Black and silver interiors
-Touchscreen system is also visible
-Expected to be offered in five-speed manual and AMT
The interiors of the Renault RBC have been spied for the first time and that too in the AMT a.k.a Easy-R guise. This is a new sub 4 metre SUV that is expected to be launched in India in 2019 and will find a place in the Renault hierarchy above the Kwid range of cars.
The interior spy shots reveal a black and silver package with a chrome outline for the instrument cluster. The cluster looks be similar to the one seen on the Captur and Duster, but will obviously have lesser features in keeping with the positioning of the vehicle.
What’s also visible is the AMT style gear lever used by Renault. Given that the technology is already in place with the Kwid and Duster, it is obvious that Renault would want to fill up this space with the RBC too. It’s expected that the RBC will share its engine and underpinnings with the Datsun Go+ compact MPV.
This compact MPV will be Renault’s fighter in the B-segment where it is expected to take on cars like the Datsun Go and Go+, Maruti Celerio, Tata Tiago and the Hyundai Santro.
