Renault opens new dealership in Jamnagar

Renault has inaugurated a new dealership in Jamnagar. Called Renault Jamnagar - Dharti Motors, the facility is located near Essar Petrol Pump, Rajkot Highway, Hapa and is the 44th Renault dealership in India.

Spread over 25,000 sq. ft., Dharti Motors has a large display area which can showcase five cars. Along with a showroom, the facility also includes a service area with 10 working bays, along with a separate paint booth, body shop, engine repair shop and wheel balancing and alignment facility. The French manufacturer has been rapidly increasing its footprint across the country, and currently covers about 80 per cent of India, thanks to its 164 touch points. While the company had just 14 sales and service facilities in mid-2011, this number is set to touch 280 by next year.

Speaking during the launch of the dealership, Mr Sumit Sawhney, country CEO and MD, Renault India Operations said, “We have a clear focus on growing the Renault brand in India, and expanding our network presence is imperative to achieve this objective. The launch of our dealership in Jamnagar today showcases this intent, and we look forward to extending our presence in this important market.
