Renault Megane sedan brochure image leaked

The appearance of the Renault’s Megane sedan has been leaked courtesy its brochure, ahead of its debut later this year. The car has been spied testing on multiple occasions and will be the third body style for the Megane moniker.

 

It is based on the same platform as the hatchback and so will make use of the same range of petrol and diesel engines as well as gearboxes. There is also expected to be a diesel hybrid variant which is expected to come sometime next year.

The pictures reveal that the car will be 4.63 metres in length with a wheelbase of 2.71 metres. It is just marginally longer than the current Fluence. The pictures also confirm that the sedan will get the latest Renault face and other styling elements that we have seen on the hatchback.

This new sedan will come to India possibly with a different name and is likely to replace the current Fluence which has not sold too well since its inception.
