Renault recently launched the 'World Edition' of the Lodgy. The special edition of the MPV comes with cosmetic updates and additional equipment. This attempt is surely for boosting the dying sales numbers, however, the updates on the vehicle have definitely refreshed the Lodgy's avatar. Take a look at what all you get if you opt for the new 'World Edition'.
The carmaker is offering the Lodgy World Edition in four colours, instead of the regular exterior body paint schemes. This includes a new funky looking fiery red shade.
Another prominent change in the front is the jewel-studded chrome grille and the faux skid plate. These are similar to the Step-way variant already on sale in India.
The alloy wheels are R15 Nepta finish wheels and the car also boasts of a new black side body moulding. There is a chrome strip outlining this side cladding.
The body coloured handles are standard and the B- and C-pillar are blackened with matte black strips. The dual tone roof rails come with a chrome satin finish differentiating it from the standard car.
At the back, the manufacturer has equipped this variant with skid plates in silver and jet black finish. The rear spoiler is body coloured and the tail gate gets a chrome embellishment and 'World Edition' badging.
There are some changes in the cabin of the car as well, including some tweaks to the dashboard. The air vents get a new anodized orange finish and the centre console gets chrome accents.
The new glossy black foam steering wheel gets a two-toned World edition badge and the vinyl gear shift bellows feature contrast stitching. The instrument cluster gets an anodized orange coloured centre ring.
Other highlights in the interior include new fabric seats with orange accents, the classic Gris Fume monotone door trim, similarly designed floor mats and door sill plates.
The special edition continues to be powered by the same 1.5-litre dCi mill in two states of tune - 108bhp and 84bhp. A six-speed manual transmission is standard for all variants.
