Renault India has launched the new Koleos, its front SUV offering for India. The Koleos is powered by a 2.0-litre that churns out 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. This is the same engine that comes on the Nissan X-Trail. The Koleos is priced at Rs 22.99lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Koleos comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Koleos is an all-wheel drive and comes loaded with Bose Audio system, parking sensors and keyless entry and push start. This is Renault's second offering in India. Renault has plans to launch three more models by the end of 2012 and even expand its dealership network. The French manufacturer aims to be amongst the top five manufacturers in the country within coming years.
