-Driver airbag, ABS+EBD, seat-belt reminder and speed alert standard across the range
-Fast USB Charger for top variants
Renault has updated the safety feature list for the Kwid. All versions of the micro hatchback SUV now get a driver’s side airbag, ABS+ EBD, front seat belt reminder and a speed alert system as standard across the range.
In addition to these safety features, Renault has also added a fast USB charger for the top-of-the-line RXT (O) and Climber variants of the Kwid. These safety additions are now standard due to new government safety regulations that make them mandatory for any new car that is sold after 1 April, this year.
The Kwid is Renault’s smallest car in India and takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Alto siblings in the A and A+ segment of the Indian car market. Prices are in the range of Rs 3.12 lakhs to Rs 5.18 lakhs (on-road Delhi).
