Renault has launched a special version of its Kwid hatchback called the ‘Live For More Edition’. It is available for on variants of the 2016 model year vehicles at no extra cost and comprises cosmetic upgrades both inside and outside.
On the exterior front, the ‘Live For More Edition’ gets left oriented dual stripes running the length of the body and along the sides. In addition there are also red accents on the grille as well as red accents on the wheel covers. There is also a contrast coloured rear spoiler as a part of the package. Inside, the steering wheel has been fitted red coloured contrast stitching while the touchscreen infotainment system is available across specified models.
The Renault Kwid can be had with two engine and two transmission options. The 800cc mill produces 53bhp/72Nm while the 1.0-litre unit produces 67bhp/91Nm. Both can be had with a five-speed manual while the 1.0-litre engined variants can also be had with a five-speed AMT.
The Renault Kwid range starts at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) with the top-of-the-line 1.0-litre AMT (with driver airbag) is priced at Rs 4.31 lakh. This limited edition is a move by the French automaker to wrap up stocks of the 2016 MY vehicle before the new model year cars are brought into the inventory shortly.
