- Will be the most major update for the Kwid.
- K-ZE is EV version of Kwid showcased at auto Shanghai 2019.
An updated version of the Renault Kwid has been spotted doing the rounds. While this is not major news, what is completely new is the fact that this Kwid has been spotted with the same face as the K-ZE electric vehicle that was showcased at Auto Shanghai 2019.
This new face sees the front light assembly split into two parts, while the signature Renault grille now gets a two-tier chrome surround. The latter adds premium value to the overall appearance of the face. The rest of the car remains unchanged in terms of external appearance and this is likely to be the case with the interiors too.
Engine options are expected to continue in the form of a 0.8-litre and the 1.0-litre but with BS-VI compliance. A five-speed manual will be a standard offering with the latter also getting the option of a five-speed AMT.
