Renault has launched the Kwid facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 2.83 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model will be available in eight variants and six colour options. It will further come with two engine options including a 0.8-litre petrol engine and a 1.0-litre petrol engine.
Exterior highlights of the Renault Kwid facelift include a new fascia with split headlamp design. The upper unit houses the DRLs and turn indicators while the lower unit houses the main headlamp. Also on offer is a new three-slat grille. A few other changes include faux skid plates, new bumpers, C-shaped LED tail lights, steel wheels with covers, blacked-out B-pillar and contrast coloured ORVMs.
Inside, the facelifted Renault Kwid comes equipped with a new eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, piano black inserts for the new air vents and steering wheel as well as a fully digital instrument cluster.
Powertrain options on the Renault Kwid facelift include the same 0.8-litre petrol engine and 1.0-litre petrol engine. These engines are paired to a five-speed manual transmission as standard while the 1.0-litre unit would be available with an AMT unit too. The Kwid facelift will take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
