- Renault Kwid facelift features a new fascia
- The model features an updated infotainment system from the Triber
New images shared on the web reveal the Renault Kwid facelift, giving us the clearest look of the car to date. The Kwid facelift seen in the images here receives a new Blue paintjob, updated fascia and refreshed interiors.
Up-front, the Renault Kwid facelift will receive a split headlamp setup, where the upper unit houses the LED DRLs and integrated turn indicators while the lower unit houses the main headlamp cluster. Also on offer is a new bumper, faux skid plate and a three slat grille. On either side, the model features steel wheels with covers, contrast coloured ORVMs and a blacked-out B-pillar. While the images do not reveal the posterior, previous spy images revealed that the model will have C-shaped LED tail lights.
Inside, the facelifted Renault Kwid will come equipped with a new touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity borrowed from the Triber, fully digital instrument cluster, piano black inserts for the steering wheel and redesigned air vents.
Powertrain options could include BS-VI compliant versions of the 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol motors. Transmission options would be carried over and include a five-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit. Once launched, the Renault Kwid facelift will rival against the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.
