The Renault Kwid has completed two years since its launch in India and is quite a success here. The French carmaker isn't leaving out any opportunity to celebrate its success. Also, to mark this occasion, an anniversary edition of the little hatchback has been launched. Find out more details about this variant through this photo gallery.
The exterior features that show off the refreshed avatar include a '02' sticker on the bonnet. Observe closely and you will notice a red coloured skid plate too.
There are dual-tone ORVMs as well, to add to the appeal. However, it's the red/white painted wheels that stand out against the contrasting body colour.Â
The side beading sports the '02' insignia. Furthermore, Renault has added some funky graphics on the C-Pillar and the roof too.
The interior of the car too gets a few updates. The most eye-catching ones are the red and black seats highlighted with '02' imprint.
The gearstick gets a new red coloured knob with white inscriptions on it. The bright red colour just pops out of the screen, dulling everything around it.
Despite the dark black interior, the carmaker has used bright red and white effectively to enliven the cabin. The new floor mats bear testimony to this fact.
While the AC vents get a coloured housing, the piano black centre console and the instrument cluster remains the same.
Though Renault hasn't provided an image, it says that the steering wheel also gets the '02' lettering. Other features from the top-spec Kwid are carried over.
The Kwid 02 Anniversary Edition will be available in two colours only - fiery red and ice cool white. Prices start at Rs 3.43 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
