Renault India had launched the Stepway variant of the Lodgy in India but only in the 110PS variant. Now the carmaker has introduced the Stepway across its range, meaning it will also be available in the lower 85PS variants.
The Stepway version is a premium version of the Lodgy that gets exterior changes including a 'jewel-studded' front grille, Stepway front bumper, black and chrome satin roof rails, 16-inch Panache Metal alloy wheels, chrome satin finished front and rear skid plates, chrome finished scuff plate, front and rear wheel arch cladding, black side moulding with chrome inserts, fog-lamp garnish with chrome satin finish and a Stepway decal.
The Lodgy Stepway gets a premium two-tone dashboard bearing piano black centre fascia with chrome surround. The interior boasts of Gris Fume and Beige Alpaga premium leather blended upholstery. The list of safety equipment on the top-end trim includes driver and passenger airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, and rear parking sensor with a camera. Then there is cruise control, speed limiter and Renault's MediaNav entertainment and navigation system among other provisions.
Like the regular Renault Lodgy, this Stepway edition also continues to be powered by the same 1.5-litre dCi mill in two states of tune - 108bhp and 84bhp. The powerful version comes mated to a six-speed manual, while the 85PS trim comes paired to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Renault Lodgy Stepway edition is offered in seven- or eight-seater options like the standard Lodgy. However, to make it look different from the regular version, Renault has added these new features and beefed up the exterior of the vehicle. It will be available in six new colours - pearl white, moonlight silver, planet grey, royal orchid and the latest being slate grey and fiery red. It will be offered in five variants and ex-showroom New Delhi prices as mentioned below -
