Renault India introduces StepUp bonanza as part of festive season

The festive season is here and with it brings with it a number of sales and offers on everything that can be sold. The automotive sector is no different, and Renault has kick-started what is expected to be the first of many more lucrative car deals that will follow.  As part of the StepUp bonanza, Renault has ensured that the focus is not solely on their best seller, the Duster, but instead on their entire product range.

The offer that starts today and will span for the next nine days, will provide customers booking the Renault Pulse, Scala or Duster a chance to upgrade to the next higher variant. In addition to this, customers booking the Renault Pulse and Scala will also receive additional benefits, including free insurance.

The Renault StepUp Bonanza also offers a chance to move up the Renault product range when booking the Renault Pulse and Scala RXZ diesel. Customers choosing these high-end variants can either opt to buy the next higher Renault product - the Scala RXE petrol or the Duster RXL diesel, respectively - at the price of their original choice or pay the price of the lower RXL diesel variant of their car instead.

The Duster upgrade in particular is an interesting one as it is still fighting for its place in the market against the Ford EcoSport and the soon-to-be-launched Nissan Terrano. The free upgrade clubbed with the recent price hike by Ford and the extended waiting period on a number of EcoSport models may act in Renault’s favour to cash in on the festive season.
