Renault India has announced that it has achieved a 455 per cent growth for the month of January 2013. It sold 4914 units in this period as compared to 885 units in the corresponding period last year. It sold a total of 4,914 units, with the Duster accounting for 3,554 units, the Scala 812 units, Pulse 403 units, Fluence 108 units and Koleos 37 units.
Commenting on the growth, Sumit Sawhney, executive director, marketing & sales said, 2012 was a year of growth for Renault India, with over 35,000 units sold across the nation as well as starting the export of the Duster. The New Year is now all set to see us continue this drive with strong domestic sales in January.
The mounting number of awards we have won both as a company and for our products is also a reflection of the rising confidence among both customers and industry experts about Renault in India,” he added.
