The Duster facelift made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016. The refreshed model gets lot of cosmetic updates and the six-speed automated manual transmission option. Renault says there are a total of 32 changes in the car and here is a look at the most important ones through a photo gallery.
The Duster now gets an aggressive face, moving away from the quirky features that the current version and most of the Renault cars get.
The changes to the front include a new headlamp and fog lamp cluster and a new front grille that gets honeycomb mesh and plenty of chrome.
Rest of the exterior updates include the new alloy wheels, kayak roof rails, LED tail lamp cluster and new Cayenne Orange colour option.
While the interior layout hasn’t changed, the overall fit and finish quality of the Renault Duster facelift seems a lot better than before.
Renault is also offering many more features with the new version like the rear camera, automatic air conditioning, one-touch up/down power window and a better music system.
However, the most important change is to the mechanicals. This Duster will be available with the six-speed Easy – R automated manual transmission.
Renault is expected to launch the new version in the next couple of months. The pricing for the facelift won’t be much higher, but AMT might be offered only with the 110bhp version.
