The Renault Lodgy now gets cheaper up to Rs 97,000. The company has however limited the discount in prices to only the 84bhp generating Lodgy variant, while the prices for the 108bhp variant continues to be the same. The discount is effective from July onwards.
As per the revised pricing, the base Lodgy is now priced at Rs 7.59 lakh as against the older Rs 8.54 lakh thereby attracting a discount of Rs 97,000; theRxE is now priced at Rs 8.57 lakh as against the older Rs 9.37 lakh with a discount Rs 80,000; theRxL is now priced at Rs 9.44 lakh as against the older Rs 9.98 lakh with a discount of Rs 56,000; and the RxZ is now priced at Rs 10.99 lakh as against the older price of Rs 11.33 lakh with a discount of Rs 34,000.
The Renault Lodgy comes with a 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in two power outputs – 84bhp of power and 200Nm of torque, and 108bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. The MPV comes with two transmission options – a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual transmission option. The Lodgy MPV from Renault has not been an impressive seller in a segment which is ruled by the Toyota Innova and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. However, with the fresh drop in prices, the company hopes to evoke customer response.
