Post much wait, the Range Rover Velar has been launched in India. The new SUV is available in Standard, S, SE and the HSE variants. Additionally, the vehicle is also available in R-Dynamic and the First Edition.
The two-row SUV measures 4803mm in length, 2145mm wide and 1665mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,874mm. The Velar is available in 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options. There is also an optional 3.0-litre engine which is limited to diesel guise.
The upswept rear overhang is complemented by the sloping roof and the raked D-pillar. The rear section also houses fog lamps and offers a parking aid. The vehicle also getstraditional large U-shaped LED taillamps along with integrated exhaust finisher.
The Velar is available with 18-inch and 19-inch wheel options with different set of alloy wheels.
The vehicle comes with choice of premium leather upholstery based on variant along with electronically adjustable seats. The SUV also gets interior lighting, two-zone climate control, air quality sensor, keyless entry and auto-dimming interior rear mirror.
The vehicle gets the new Touch-Pro Duo infotainment system is also available for smartphone mirroring and gesture control.
The SUV offers an ample boot space of 673 litres.
