- Priced from Rs. 4.98 crore onwards
- First limited-edition offering made specially for the Indian market
Land Rover has launched the first-of-its-kind Range Rover Ranthambore Edition in the country. This offering, limited to just 12 units across the country, is priced from Rs. 4.98 crore (ex-showroom) onwards.
Done up by the brand's SV customisation division, the Range Rover Ranthambore Edition is the first limited-edition offering from the brand made especially for the Indian market. Additionally, an undisclosed sum of the proceeds from selling these versions will be donated to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
Coming to the SUV itself, the Range Rover, in this special edition avatar, is adorned with a bespoke Deep Black body colour with a red shimmering effect. It is complemented by Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents reminiscent of the tiger's stripes. The colour effect is extended to the roof, mirror caps, and 23-inch dark grey wheels with Corinthian Bronze inserts.
Inside, the Range Rover Ranthambore Edition sets itself apart with Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching, special embroidery on the seats, customised cushions, chrome jewellery finishes, light linear wenge veneers, and white ceramic dials. Also up for offer are scuff plates that denote 'Ranthambore Edition' and '1 of 12', thus denoting their exclusivity. The feature list boasts fully reclinable seats, a powered rear armrest, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerated compartment complete with SV-etched glassware among others. At the heart of the new Range Rover Ranthambore Edition is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 394bhp and 550Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
