The Range Rover line of vehicles currently consists of the Evoque, the Range Rover Sport and the flagship Range Rover, however, according to motoring.com.au, a fourth model is on the cards to cater to those who don't need seven seats and at the same time, do not wish to have something as compact as the Evoque or as large as the RR Sport.
In all probability, this new model will be based on a modified version of the Evoque platform that also underpins the all-new Discovery Sport.
According to the report, there is a considerable gap, both in terms of price and proportions between the Evoque which is a mid-size premium crossover and the Range Rover Sport which serves as a sporty, luxurious SUV. The forthcoming model, then, will have a tough task filling in the considerable gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport.
