Land Rover recently added the 2017 year model of the Evoque for the Indian market. Along with this new model, the carmaker also launched a special edition of the SUV. This special variant is called the 'Ember' edition and gets some cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the standard SUV. Take a close look at the changes through this picture gallery.
This Ember edition is based on the HSE Dynamic trim and comes in a dual-tone red and black colour. The front and rear bumpers also sport a dab of red shade.
To add to the flair, the roof is finished in the Firenze Red colour, while the entire body is painted in Santorini Black.
This Ember dual-tone theme is continued in the cabin of the vehicle as well, with the Ebony black seats feature a contrasting Pimento red stitch.
Powering the special edition will be the new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel mill that is rated at 177bhp. This comes mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox delivering power to all four wheels.
These Ingenium units are 20 kg lighter than their equivalent previous-gen engines. They feature computer-controlled adaptive engine cooling and latest generation variable geometry turbocharger.
The Torque Vectoring feature continuously monitors the vehicle and balances the distribution of torque between all four wheels to improve grip and steering, depending on the nature of terrain.
This Range Rover Evoque 2.0-litre Diesel HSE Dynamic Ember Edition is priced at Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) and bookings are now open at all JLR dealerships in India.
