Rainforest Challenge Day 4 Photo Gallery

The skies opened up today after three days of torrential rains and we thought that the going would be easier for the competitors. But then, would that be the Rainforest Challenge? Certainly not. So, the stages got longer and of course tougher. And with the sun beating down in the later part of the day, we got to see the monsters in their full glory.

There were steps to start with, an easy challenge, but, the difficult ones were just around the corner.

Like this one, where you had to climb another wall out of the defunct quarry with a winch to assist you with the climb.

Wading through deep water, not knowing what lay beneath the surface was very tricky.

In SS23, you had to use the ladders, winch and get the line right to overcome rocks and make it out.

Harkeerat from Mumbai had snapped his winch rope, but he was back with a new one and how.

Harkeerat is all smiles after completing another stage in his 1.6-litre engine Maruti Gypsy.

A Mahindra Thar running a 5.3-litre big block V8. It took them over four years to build it to RFC-spec.

KTM Jeepers from Kottayam, Kerala, at the end of SS23 with one more stage to go to end of Day 4.

Doesn’t matter what you are driving, you will certainly earn a lot of respect at the end of the day.
