It is Day 3 at the Rainforest Challenge and we have moved out of the city on to the country side for the next set of stages. Not only has the countryside become more vibrant, the stages have also become tougher and adding the volatile monsoons to the equation, the toughest off-road event in the country moves on from SS13 to 18.

The cars went splashing through the streams with full gusto, flying down the easier sections.

And that is because obstacles like this need you to be calm, steady and careful to be the fastest.

You can repair your car between stages and then you drive out of the woods like Rambo does.

You need to trust your navigator to direct you through the right way around the obstacles.
