Nissan has unveiled the production version of its all-electric e-NV200 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The company first unveiled the concept at the North American International Show in 2012 after going through a series of testing.
The company claims that this vehicle is very practical and sustainable and that will make it a good choice for a city delivering vehicle or people mover. Powering this car is an 80kW electric motor that gets a 24kWh battery. The battery can be charged overnight through a domestic 16-amp single-phase 3.3kW outlet. With this charge, this electric Nissan has a top speed of 120kmph with a driving range of 170kms.
The cosmetic changes in the E-NV200 comes from the LEAF. It gets a new front end, blue-tinted LED headlights and new instrument console that displays wide range of vehicle data like speed, charge left and travelled distance. The central charging doors and unique blue tinted LED headlights give a modern look and distinct identity from its sibling.
