-Likely to debut in January 2025
-To be based on the modified K2 Platform
The Hyundai Creta EV has been in the news for the entirety of 2024. In a few months, the electric version of the Creta will soon debut, most likely at the Auto Expo 2025. Ahead of this, another pre-production test mule of the Creta EV has been spied out in the open being tested rigorously.
The new Hyundai Creta EV will be based on a modified version of Creta’s K2 Platform. The upcoming SUV will feature a blanked-off grille, redesigned fascia, front-mounted charging port, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and a slightly modified rear profile.
The Creta EV will offer features comparable to its engine-powered version. It will be equipped with a 360-degree surround camera, Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, powered driver’s seat, cruise control, and an auto-dimming IRVM. Furthermore, the SUV will get a redesigned centre console and repositioned drive selector stalk, which will be mounted on the steering column.
As for the battery pack and specifications, the Creta EV will likely sport two battery pack options with a maximum driving range of up to 500km on a single charge. More details regarding the technical specifications are expected to be out in the coming months.
