Ford India has announced a recall for the previous generation Endeavour. According to the company, Endeavour units manufactured at the company’s Chennai plant between February 2004 and September 2014 have been recalled.
Ford has said that customers of the affected Endeavour models will be contacted and requested to bring their car to the dealership. This voluntary recall is said to have affected 22,690 units of the previous generation Ford Endeavour.
The previous generation Ford Endeavour was powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine that was capable of producing 116bhp at 3,500 rpm and 285Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. This engine was paired to a five speed manual transmission.
