Premier Ltd. had recently launched the petrol version of its compact SUV, the Rio. Now, the automaker goes a step further as it will showcase the facelift version of the Rio at the Auto Expo next week.
Currently, the Rio is powered by a 1.5-litre TUD5 Peugeot engine and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The diesel engine being a BSIII compliant cannot be sold in BSIV cities. So, the facelift version of the Rio will come with a 1.3-litre Fiat multijet mill. This will help Premier to target the 11 Indian major cities where Rio isn’t available currently.
