Porsche unveils new Cayman Black Edition

German sports car firm Porsche has just unleashed a special edition for the mid-engined Cayman. Dubbed the Black Edition, this special edition Cayman gets a combination of black paintwork and black interior and more equipment as standard.

At the heart of the Cayman Black Edition is the proven 2.7-litre, flat-six engine developing 275bhp of power. As for upgrades, Porsche is offering 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels with wider tyres. Other design highlights include Bi-Xenon headlights with PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System) and optional side window trims in aluminium.

In terms of additional equipment, the Cayman Black Edition gets GPS navigation, rain sensor, cruise control, front and rear Park Assist and a Sport Design steering wheel as standard.

With prices starting from £45,989 (Rs 45.61 lakh) in the UK, the Cayman Black edition joins Porsche’s special black series of models which already includes the Boxster and the 911 Carrera.
