Porsche is all set to unveil an all-electric model at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Likely to be called the Pajun, this car will be the first all-electric model from the German automaker. It is likely to use a similar setup from R8 e-tron but will have a higher range.
Reports suggest that the car will be similar to the Audi A6 in terms of dimensions but share much of its underpinnings with the R8 e-tron. It (the e-tron) gets a 92kWh battery setup and electric motors that produces the equivalent of 456bhp and 920Nm of torque. In a smaller vehicle expected to have a higher range, this number is likely to be quite a bit lower.
The vehicle is likely to enter production in 2019 and by then will be based on whatever is the Stuttgart automaker’s design philosophy.
