Porsche has disclosed the first official photos of the Panamera in its final look. Porsche’s four-seater stands out clearly as a new member of the Porsche family. The designers of the Panamera have succeeded in positioning this car as a different model while nevertheless retaining the looks of a typical Porsche. In its styling and details, the Panamera follows the design philosophy of the 911 and which was even implemented on the Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne.
The engines are V6s and V8s, and range in power from 300 to 500bhp. Some of the engines use turbochargers and Direct Fuel Injection. The power goes to the wheels either through a manual six-speed gearbox or Porsche’s seven-speed PDK Doppelkupplungsgetriebe or Double-Clutch Gearbox. In addition to rear-wheel drive, the top version of the Panamera will be all-wheel drive.
