Porsche introduced their crossover, the Macan, in 2013 for the international market. However, the manufacturer has recently been spotted testing the facelifted version of the Porsche Macan. The new crossover is expected to carry all the necessary tweaks required for its midlife update.
The prototype of the new car suggests that the updated design will now carry new bumpers and revised daytime running lights. The design of the taillights also appears to have received some tweaks. The dashboard was also masked which suggested that there were a few updates on the inside too. The infotainment system is likely to be upgraded with the new setup that debuted in the 2017 Panamera.Â

The engine is not expected to get any updates and should have the same 2.0-litre V6 power plant producing 252bhp. However there is possibility is that we may see a plug-in hybrid option, likely to be mated to the V-6 with an electric motor integrated with the transmission. However, it can be speculated that the Macan will be offered with a new diesel power plant for efficient concerned buyers in the Indian market.
The test mule is expected to shed away its wraps by early 2018 and could be dubbed as the 2019 model for the international markets. It is anticipated that the Macan will hit the Indian soil later next year and could dominate this segment over the Jaguar F-Pace.
