The new Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is the most powerful and unique 911 Turbo S ever. Limited to just 500 units, the Exclusive Series gets a bump in power output, increasing the total output to 607 horsepower. The Exclusive Series 911 Turbo S will be put together by hand by in-house specialists ‘Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’.
Previously known as ‘Porsche Exclusive’, the in-house workshop specialises in tailoring to customer’s special demands, as well as being responsible for limited-edition series. The special treatment that is given to the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series might not be to everyone’s taste, as the exterior is done in exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic body paint with carbon fibre stripes on the roof and bonnet and carbon fibre side skirt.
The newly-designed 20-inch central locking alloy wheels have yellow accents using new laser technology. At the rear, there is a sleek wing of the special Turbo Aerokit, there is a carbon fibre ram-air scoop and the twin exhaust pipes are made up of stainless steel but finished in black. In addition to Golden Yellow Metallic paint, the vehicle is offered in a range of other exterior colours.
On the inside, the 18-way adjustable seats are wrapped in perforated leather with Golden Yellow contrast stitching. The roof lining is made of Alcantara with a double golden yellow stripe. The door sills get illuminated Exclusive Series lettering finished in carbon. There is an interior plaque with vehicle number to add exclusivity, apart from a plethora of ‘Exclusive Edition’ insignia all over the car.
Power still comes from the 3.8-litre, six-cylinder biturbo flat engine. With the exclusive power kit, there’s a bump of 26bhp in power, while the maximum torque is now 750Nm. Porsche claims the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds while the top speed is 330kmph. The braking responsibilities are taken care of by the PCCB ceramic brake system. The active sports chassis with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the Sport Chrono package are included in the standard equipment. The rear-axle steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) are also a part of this exclusive package.
Porsche will also accessorise the Exclusive Series with an ‘exclusive’ chronograph watch that matches the car. A matching set of leather luggage will also be available. All the exclusivity will come at a price, however, Porsche hasn't confirmed the pricing yet.
