Porsche has been up to a lot of late, and from the maker of sports cars like the iconic 911, this brand has come a long way by also introducing an SUV (Cayenne) and a four door saloon (Panamera).
However, Porsche has now got another version up their sleeve, and this time it is the wagon version of the Panamera which was first teased at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. With this station wagon, Porsche will basically add another category to their portfolio. Sources now suggest that the wagon version of Porsche’s four door Panamera is all set to debut at the Geneva Motor show in March, and may also go on sale in Europe in the following months.
Porsche’s upcoming wagon could lock horns, if priced effectively, with the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake (station wagon variant of the CLS-Class), so that it can cater to those buyers sensitive enough to seek luxury and functionality at the same time. It is uncertain as to how much attention the new version will garner, however, Porsche has done its bit by tapping into all the right avenues to generate business, which is the correct business model.
We shall give you more information on this vehicle in the coming months.
