Automobili Pininfarina has teased its upcoming all-electric hypercar, codenamed PFO, ahead of its official debut in 2019. The all-wheel-drive two-seat hypercar is expected to emerge as the fastest Italian supercar and will be a limited-production electric hypercar. Although the teaser reveals its sharp aerodynamic bodylines, the production-ready model is expected to be showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March.
Pininfarina PFO will generate a massive 1900bhp of power, fast enough to overlap a Formula 1 car! The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in under two seconds and clock a top speed of over 400kmph. Reports claim that the vehicle will offer a driving range of 483kms. The vehicle will additionally offer the level three autonomous driving hardware for convenience. The new all-electric PF0 will also kick off a range of Pininfarina branded EVs. The PFO also marks the debut of a new design language called the ‘Pura’ that focusses on elements like elegance and simplicity.
It is believed that the hand detailed 150 units of the PFO will be sold for a price close to around two million Euros each. The vehicle will also have a fast charging feature which will charge the battery up to 80 per cent in just about 25-40 minutes.
