Pininfarina, the legendary Italian design house and part-time car maker, is all set to begin its new innings as a full-time car maker. Now under the leadership of Mahindra, the Indian automotive conglomerate, Pininfarina is nurturing its long-held dream of being a full-scale carmaker.
Pininfarina is all set to be an electric carmaker, catering to the hyper-performance and super-luxury segments. And one of their first creations, the PF0 is all set for a private preview at the Pebble Beach at the Monterey car week in California. Pininfarina has teased an image of its interior in the conceptual form only.
While we will have to wait till 24 August to have a look at the real deal, the PF0 hypercar has already created waves with its proposed 0-100kmph dash in less than two seconds. The teaser shows the speedometer at 325kmph which indicates the kind of performance the buyers can expect. The leather interior and the angular TFT screen for the instrument cluster shows that it will be luxurious as well.
