> Rumoured to hit roads around the world by the end of 2018
> Interiors will not receive major changes
> Audi could drop the diesel version owing to lack of demand
Shots of the 2018 facelifted Audi TT have leaked through a post on Instagram.
A closer look reveals design updates on this new iteration of Audi’s TT. It now gets a sportier overall design along with larger air dams and a sharper splitter. In fact, the design upgrades are in line with the prototype we spotted earlier in April, when testing on the Nurburgring.
Although Audi has not revealed any details, sources believe that the current line-up of engines (1.8 TFSI/2.0 TFSI/2.5 TFSI/2.0 TDI) will be retained. However, these motors will likely go through a tweak for better output and efficiency.
Reports state that the current crop of leaked images suggest that Audi could officially reveal the TT, probably at some upcoming motor show. We will bring you more news then.
