What you are looking at here is a Lamborghini Aventador in its most extreme form yet. Called the Aventador SV Roadster, this recently unveiled model is the convertible version of the mental Aventador SV that arrived in March this year.
The Aventador SV Roadster looks every bit as outlandish as a typical V12-powered Lamborghini. The design highlights include a two-piece removable roof and a revised engine cover.
Inside, the cabin remains the same as the SV coupe. The only difference here is that you now have infinite amount of headroom and a louder reception of that glorious V12 engine lurking behind the seats.
Thrust comes via a 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces 750bhp of power and 690Nm of torque. All of that is sent to the road via a 7-speed single clutch gearbox and an all-wheel drive system. Zero to 100kmph comes up in 2.9 seconds and the top speed is rated at 350kmph.
With only 500 examples to be produced, the Aventador SV Roadster, like the SV models from the past, will be a rare car indeed.
