VinFast, Vietnam's first volume car manufacturer has showcased its SUV crossover and sedan concept codenamed LUX A2.0 at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The production model will reportedly be exported to global markets. The cars are based on a new architecture which is developed by VinFast and supported by engineering partners namely - Magna Steyr and Bosch.
The VinFast sedan and the SUV crossover are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that generates 171bhp of power and 228Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is sourced from ZF. The sedan measures 4,973mm in height, 1,900mm wide and 1,464mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 2,968mm. The car has a curved surface design element and a long hood.
The SUV on the other hand measures 4,940mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,773mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 2,933mm. The SUV crossover gets a contemporary European look complete with sleek LED headlights. The vehicle gets good ground clearance and muscular stance.
