- EZ-Ultimo is the last of three EZ-branded vehicles
- Autonomous, electric, connected and shared mobility service solution
- Complete with front-wheel drive and four-wheel steering
Taking you right into the future in every sense, the Renault EZ-Ultimo has been showcased at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The EZ-Ultimo is the last of three EZ-branded vehicles to be revealed this year. Earlier this year, the company revealed the EZ-GO taxi and EZ-PRO delivery van. The robo-vehicle concept is an autonomous, electric, connected, and shared mobility service solution that offers a premium travel experience.
The production-ready model will be available on-demand, for a single trip, for an hour or for a day, depending on the requirement. Powered by an electric motor, it claims to offer level four autonomous technology. The Ultimo is based on the same basic architecture as seen in the other two EZs. The concept appears to be like a ‘skateboard’ of batteries, complete with front-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. Moreover, it also gets a fancier body and cabin, commensurate with its role as a luxury limousine.
The interior has been completed with premium upholstery and a comfortable seating layout. Fancy lights and wood trim finish promises to redefine the commuting experience.
