German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has showcased the 2019 Mercedes-AMG A35 at the ongoing Paris Motor Show 2018. The vehicle gets distinctive cosmetic AMG highlights in the form of larger air intakes, multi-spoke alloy wheels, large rear wing and a redesigned aggressive bumper on the front. The car has been showcased in production form for the first time at the ongoing event in Paris.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG A35 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 302bhp of power and 400Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that powers the front wheels. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just about 4.7-seconds, while the top speed has been electronically restricted to 250kmph.
Inside, it gets unique AMG highlights in the form of AMG badged seats and flat-bottom steering wheel. The vehicle also gets a flat bottom AMG steering wheel and dual-display from A-Class. The vehicle features the new MBUX user infotainment system and multiple drive modes that include - Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual and Slippery. The company has not revealed any plans for its India debut anytime soon.
