According to recent reports, a one-off Aston Martin is up for auction. The model in question is the DB9 Centennial Spyder Concept which was built to celebrate Aston Martin's 100th anniversary.
Based on the DB9 Volante, this one-off model features retro looks that is quite controversial. The interior, meanwhile, is quite conventional with the traditional Aston Martin bits and creature comforts.
Under the long hood sits a 6-litre V12 engine that produces 510bhp of power. Connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the engine sends power to the rear wheels. The vehicle has clocked 3,701 km on the odometer and is still fit for the factory warranty on all of its mechanical components till March 2016.
The DB9 Spyder Zagato is expected to sell for anywhere between $380,000 (Rs 2.41 crore) and $450,000 (Rs 2.85 crore) and while that is pricey indeed, one-off models cannot possibly get any more special.
