NRB Bearings Limited, manufacturers of ball and roller bearings, has reported Net Sales of Rs. 101.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 as compared to Rs. 65.19 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, an increase of 56.2% from the previous quarter. Net Profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 was at Rs. 9.30 crore.
Net sales for the year ended March 31, 2010, grew by 20.2% to Rs 346.61 crore as compared to Rs 288.42 crore in the previous year. Net profit for FY10 rose by 472.8% to Rs 22.14 crore, as against Rs.4.26 crore posted in the same period of last fiscal. Earnings per Share (EPS) for FY10 worked out to Rs. 5.04 as compared to Rs. 0.88 for the same period of last fiscal. Commenting on the results Ms. Harshbeena Zaveri, President, NRB Bearings said: “It has been a better year for us and our strategies have helped us. Globally and domestically, the environment is much more stable. This is also evident from the recently held 10th Auto Expo in Delhi. We have received constructive response and are looking forward to a good year.
