Nissan India plans to launch the all new X-Trail Hybrid before the end of the financial year. The company proudly claimed that India will be the fourth market in the world after Japan, Thailand and Indonesia to have introduced the X-Trail Hybrid. This vehicle will come to India with Nissan's latest hybrid vehicle technology.
The hood ends in an aggressive straight line at the fascia that houses the dramatic head lamps and the prominent ‘V’ chrome accent on the grille around the Nissan logo.
The sides of the X-Trail reveal a very calm and subtle set of smooth design curves. There are delicate flared wheel arches and minimal cladding all around that lends a very functional look to the car.
Tail lamps look attractive especially in the way they blend along the edges of the rear glass, however, rear visibility could be hampered looking at the dimensions and view angle of the rear glass.
A 2.0-litre MR20DD petrol engine is twinned with an advanced 31kW electric motor. An intelligent dual clutch control helps the system enable EV mode while driving in high-speed situations.
The curvy dashboard has a distinct ridge flowing across the top of the dash that moves on to the door pads. The steering holds the Nissan logo in a unique shape that’s surrounded with silver accents.
A minimalistic screen is flanked by the audio control buttons that are arranged in an easy to operate manner. The air-con function switches are also well laid out and effortlessly accessible.
