Earlier this week, Nissan unveiled the India-spec X-Trail. Showcased for the first time back in 2022, the three-row SUV will be followed by other models such as the Magnite facelift, Nissan’s derivatives of the two- and three-row Duster, and a budget EV. Now, let us take a closer look at some important timelines of the X-Trail.
Bookings opening date
Nissan India will officially commence bookings of the new X-Trail on 26 July. Notably, the SUV will be available in a single variant across three colour options.
Timeline for end of embargo
We have driven the 2024 X-Trail, but our review is under embargo. The latter will be lifted on 23 July, after which you will get an in-depth opinion of the car.
Dealer dispatches and arrival at showrooms
Nissan will begin dispatching the new X-Trail to dealers towards the end of July, and the car is expected to arrive at local dealerships across the country in the first week of August.
Launch date and price announcement
While the car has been unveiled, Nissan will reveal the prices of the 2024 X-Trail in India on 1 August. This will also mark the first car launch of the month, which will be followed by other launches such as the Tata Curvv, Lamborghini Urus SE, and the Mercedes-Benz CLE and GLC coupe among others.
Delivery timeline
Nissan hasn’t officially set a date for the deliveries of the X-Trail three-row SUV yet, but it has confirmed that 150 units of the car are ready for dispatch. Given this number, we expect deliveries to begin a few days after the price announcement if not the same day itself.
