Nissan focuses on sports as a medium to engage with its customers. It's no surprise then that it has entered into an eight-year partnership with the International Cricket Council till 2023. In line with this strategy, the carmaker also launched the Terrano Sport edition. Go through these pictures of what is described as 'a celebration of people who strive to excel at their game be it sports or life'.
This special edition of the compact SUV called the Terrano Sport is priced at Rs 12.22 lakhs. It comes with a bunch of updates to the exterior in order to give the SUV a premium look and feel.
In a bid to give it a dual-tone colour scheme, the body colour is white, while the roof and pillars are wrapped in black. The black cladding on the wheel arches is new as well.
Other touches for a sporty look include red stripes on the bonnet, fenders and even the rear door sill. Meanwhile, the other design elements remain the same for the SUV.
This Terrano Sport Edition is based on the XL (O) trim of the standard Terrano borrowing the same equipment list. However, the special edition sports LED DRLs as seen on the earlier limited edition trims.Â
The other highlights in the cabin are the crimson-stitched seat covers. Nissan India has added these crimson highlights to the floor mats as well.
It should be noted that the Nissan Terrano Sport Edition will be made in limited numbers. For now, it's offered only on the 84bhp 1.5-litre diesel model.
