Nissan has revealed the official brochure of the Terrano compact SUV. The Renault Duster based Terrano SUV was unveiled globally at a function in Delhi on August 20 with the official website revealing all the variants and features a week later.
The Nissan is offering the Terrano in six variants with two engine options. The former uses the standard Nissan nomenclature but includes the new XV premium diesel variant that was introduced with the facelifted Micra hatchback in July.
Engine options for Nissan Terrano are the same as the Renault Duster; a 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 104PS and 145Nm of torque as well a 1.5-litre diesel mill that can be had in 85PS/200Nm or 110PS/248Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual for the petrol and the 85PS diesel while the 110PS diesel gets a six-speed manual. The Japanese automaker is offering the Terrano in six shades; pearl white, blade silver, sapphire black, sterling grey, bronze grey and fire red. During the launch, Nissan had announced that the Terrano would be priced below Rs 10 lakh.
