Nissan India has announced the pre-booking of the automatic version of their crossover SUV, the Terrano. The automatic Terrano is priced between Rs 13.75-13.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The sales will commence only at the end of this month. Prospective customers can pre-book their cars with a deposit of Rs 25,000 at Nissan dealerships.
Based on the top-spec XVD Premium, the automatic version is called the Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive. The car will have a six-speed AMT, which is mated to the same 1.5 dCI K9K THP diesel engine producing 108bhp at 3900rpm and a max torque of 248Nm at 2250rpm. The automatic also gets a Hill Assist Control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
Additional 14 features are added to the Terrano automatic, including a new colour, sandstone brown, as seen in the picture. The features include a new driver armrest, electrically folding exterior rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signals, anti-pinch driver side windows, soft-touch plastics on the dashboard, and door trim. A white backlit illumination on door switches, new door trim design, one touch turn indicators, and automatic warning for emergency braking will come as standard.
Nissan claims an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 19.61kmpl for the Terrano automatic.
