Nissan has once again and rather silently re-launched the Sunny XV diesel special edition ahead of the festival season. It has been priced at Rs 9.86 lakh and costs Rs 56, 000 above the standard XV diesel variant. The additional features are cosmetic in nature while the mechanical bits stay exactly the same.
The Nissan Sunny XV Diesel Special Edition in addition to the features of the XV diesel variant also gets premium leather seats, reversing camera, chrome exhaust finish and a rear spoiler. The previous special edition also included Satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, it is currently unclear if this car has these features.
The Sunny XL diesel special edition will be powered by the 1.5-litre K9K diesel that produces 85bhp and 200Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
Nissan has brought out the special edition in a bid to cash in on the holiday season and increase sales of the C-segment sedan.
