After a string of spy images, Nissan has finally gone ahead and revealed the Terra SUV before its official debut at the Beijing Motor Show. The mid-size SUV gets a ladder frame chassis and will be sold across other Asian markets including India. Talking about the looks, the Terra looks butch and has all the credentials of a proper SUV thanks to its massive dimensions, tall stance and muscular bulges. We’re sure the Terra will be happily accepted in India.
The Terra shares its underpinnings with the Navara pick-up and the Mercedes-Benz X-Class. The Terra will be a seven seater and we expect it to be quite a roomy SUV. Powering the Terra will be a 2.5 litre diesel with about 185bhp which is on par with its competition which includes the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
Nissan will have full information on the Terra SUV this April when the vehicle makes its official debut at the 2018 Beijing auto show. The Terra will go on sale in China this spring, with other Asian markets to follow soon thereafter.
